This information security policy is a commitment of Trung Nhan Caterpilar Fungus Company Limitted (“TRUNG NHAN”) to all of the Customers participating in online shopping via TRUNG NHAN’s website – In the spirit of respecting the law and protecting the consumer rights, TRUNG NHAN always aims for the most perfection in its corporate policies.

All of the policies, process and regulations of TRUNG NHAN are drafted base on the principle of maximizing the customer interests. In accordance with TRUNG NHAN’s sales strategy through e-commerce applications, the shopping needs, and the benefits from TRUNG NHAN’s promotion programs, TRUNG NHAN and its customers understand that the purpose for collecting the customer data is to improve the customer shopping experience, and enhance the relationship between TRUNG NHAN and the Customers, specifically as follows:

  • Quickly and timely notify the Customers about the promotion, advertising, and/or the other trade promotion programs.
  • Provide the utilities, improve the quality of customer service.
  • Maintain connection with the customers, support customers in shopping and answer their questions regarding to TRUNG NHAN’s products.
  • Prevent the activities that violate Vietnamese laws.

Scope of customer data collection

Before making the purchase decision at TRUNG NHAN’s website dongtrunghathaotrungnhan.vn, the Customers should provide the below information to facilitate the online shopping process:

  • Address
  • Email
  • Phone number

In addition to the above information, at different times, in accordance with the utilities that TRUNG NHAN wants to provide to the Customers, TRUNG NHAN may request the Customers to provide the additional information. TRUNG NHAN hopes the Customers understand that providing this information is voluntary and in accordance with Customers’ criteria.

2. Scope of information use

Trung Nhan will only use the customer data in the following cases:

  • Improve the commodities and customer services to satisfy the customer demand;
  • Support to carry out the trade promotion programs between TRUNG NHAN and its customers;
  • Handle issues related to the transactions between TRUNG NHAN and its customers;
  • Contact with the customers to get the information for sending the Open letter and Thank you letter to the customers;
  • Send the information about TRUNG NHAN’s promotion and advertising programs to the customers according to customers’ prior agreements;
  • Send to the Distributors/ Agents to deliver the orders to the customers;
  • Besides, TRUNG NHAN can share the customer information for the following purposes:
    • Doing market research and analysis reports: TRUNG NHAN may use the customer data to do the market research, gather and analyse the Customer information (such as the average age, geographical area), the detailed information will be hidden and only be used for the statistical purposes. In case that TRUNG NHAN carries out a survey that needs the participation among the Customers, every answers from the Customers will not be transfered to any third party.
    • Exchange Customer information with the subsidiary companies that are fully owned by TRUNG NHAN group and partners who have signed a Customer care cooperation agreement with TRUNG NHAN. This share helps TRUNG NHAN provide Customers with information about the products and services, related to goods, services and other issues that Customers are interested in. In case that TRUNG NHAN’s affiliated companies are granted access to the Customer information, they must strictly comply with the security regulations being described in this Policy.
    • Exchange of Customer information with the third parties who are partners and agents of TRUNG NHAN: TRUNG NHAN can transfer Customer information to agents and subcontractors for data analysis, marketing and supporting the Customer service. TRUNG NHAN may also exchange Customer information with third party for the purposes of fraud prevention and credit risk reduction.
    • Exchange of Customer information with advertising partners: The Customer behavior tracking system used by TRUNG NHAN on display advertising channels (such as Customer remarketing, DoubleClick advertising campaign management system, reporting on Customer demographics, the interest of Customers in Google Analytics tool…) can collect the information such as age, gender, interests, the number of interactions and the number of times the advertisement appears. With the advertising settings feature, Customers can choose to exit the Customer behavior tracking feature of Google Analytics and choose how the advertising display channel appears (on Google or Facebook…).
  • The other situations that TRUNG NHAN is permited to use by the Customers or by the current Vietnamese laws and regulations.

If Customers do not want to receive any advertising information or promotional program from TRUNG NHAN, they have the right to refuse at any time by sending a request to stop receiving notifications, information from TRUNG NHAN’s application.

3. Information retention period

TRUNG NHAN only retains Customer Information in a necessary period for the purpose that the Information was collected or as required by the Contract or as required by the current laws and/or until the Customers clearly notify TRUNG NHAN of a different retention period.

5. Access and adjust customer personal information

Customers have the right to request TRUNG NHAN or by themselves to check, correct errors, update, supplement to complete Personal information or cancel Personal information by accessing to their Personal data on the application account and performing adjustments.

6. Commitment to secure customer personal information

  • TRUNG NHAN commits not to sell or share, leading to the disclosure of Customer personal information without Customer acceptance, except in cases that the law or competent authorities require, TRUNG NHAN is forced to fulfill its obligation to provide the Customer information.
    By reading and understanding this Policy and/or agreeing to conduct transactions on the application by the Customers, TRUNG NHAN understands that the Customers have expressed agreement to the terms of use and information sharing in this Policy. In addition, depending on each arising case, TRUNG NHAN will collect the Customers’ opinions and only use, share this information when receiving the customer agreement.
  • The Company commits not to force Customers to use the attached services when installing and using Trung Nhan’s application.
  • All of the transaction information between the Customers and TRUNG NHAN will be secured by encrypting all information entered by the Customers.
  • Customers should not exchange their payment and delivery information with any third party to avoid information leakage. When using public computers, Customers should log out their accounts every time they stop using TRUNG NHAN’s services to protect their access password information.
  • Customers are responsible for protecting their account information and not providing any information related to their access accounts and passwords on the application to any other party. In case the Clients disclose information leading to damage, TRUNG NHAN will not bear any responsibility for any arising problems.
  • Moreover, Customers are absolutely not allowed to use any form to interfere with the system or change the data structure of the application. TRUNG NHAN strictly prohibits the spread, propagation or encouragement of any activity aims at interfering in, sabotaging or infiltrating the data of the application system. For any violation, Customers will be deprived of all benefits arising from the use of the application, and may be required to be treated according to the provisions of law.
